Lunar landcapes : monochromes tones of ultramarine, Prussian blue, violet... Smooth, imponderable skies. Calanques... inlets whose rocky sides lend a sens of immutable force, dominating a waveless sea which glints like precious stones. Burning lands of red, gold  and an alchemy of greens. Blind house fronts of a Provence meditating on  its own flamboyance.

Colour invades the canvas and the strokes no longer attempt to contain it : mosaics of coloured facets establishing a balance between the different hues, crating planes which use  their positive lines to give his compositions their strength and stability."
